Parquet
Parquet floors are entirely geometical, with patterns made up of squares, triangles or diamonds.
A truly traditional flooring option, parquet flooring was first introduced in 1684 in the Palace of Verailles, and still today remains very much in fashion. In modern installations, the most popular parquet flooring style is the decorative herringbone pattern.
All types of hardwood can be used for parquet flooring including oak, beech, mahogany, ash, jatoba, iroko, pine, pear, acacia, maple and walnut to name a few. With our bespoke service, you can create any design for your installation, and parquet is a particulalrly popular choice.
